Hidden Valley Park

Center Avenue (and Redwood Drive Intersection)

Please note that there are two set of directions for Hidden Valley Park.  Directions A take you via Highway 24 and I-680.  If freeway congestion is a concern or if you just don't like taking the freeway, consider Directions B.  Directions B take you out Pleasant Hill Road and do not involve any freeway travel.
Directions A - via Hwy 24 and I-680
1.
 Take Highway 24 East towards Walnut Creek, bear left to join I--680 North
2.
 Travel on I-680 North towards Concord/Sacramento ~ 6.1 miles to the Burnett/Concord Ave exit
3.
 Take the Burnett/Concord Ave exit ~ .1 miles to Diamond Blvd
4.
 Turn left onto Diamond Blvd and go ~ .1 miles to Concord Ave
5.
 Turn left onto Concord Ave and go ~ .3 miles to Contra Costa Blvd
6.
 Turn right onto Contra Costa Blvd and go ~ .5 miles to Center Ave
NOTE: Contra Costa Blvd becomes Pacheco Blvd in the last .1 mile
7.
 Turn left onto Center Ave and go ~1.3 miles to Redwood Dr
8.
 You may turn left and attempt to park in the Hidden Valley Park parking lot or park on the street (Center Ave or Redwood Drive)

Distance from Campolindo HS: 13 miles
Driving Time from Campolindo HS: 21 minutes

Directions B - via surface streets
1.
 		From Campolindo HS, travel ~ 2.2 miles to Mt. Diablo Blvd, Lafayette
2.
 		Turn right on Mt. Diablo Blvd and go ~ 1.3 miles to Pleasant Hill Rd
3.
 		Turn left on Pleasant Hill Rd and go ~ 1.9 miles to Taylor Blvd
4.
 		Bear left onto Taylor Blvd and go ~ 2.6 miles to Pleasant Hill Rd
5.
 		Turn left onto Taylor Blvd and go ~ 1.4 miles to Elderwood Dr
NOTE: Taylor Blvd becomes Alhambra Ave for the last 1.1 miles
6.
 		Turn right onto Elderwood Dr and go ~ .7 miles to Morello Ave
7.
 		Turn left onto Morello Ave and go ~ .7 miles to Center Ave
8.
 Turn right onto Center Ave and go ~ .8 miles to Redwood Dr
9.
 		You may turn right and attempt to park in the Hidden Valley Park parking lot or park on the street (Center Ave or Redwood Dr).

Distance from Campolindo HS: 11.5 miles
Driving Time from Campolindo HS: 25 minutes

Parking
Parking is available in the Hidden Valley Park parking lot (limited) or on Center Ave or Redwood Dr.

Notes
The cross country course start/finish is located on the baseball diamond the east of the parking lot. Campolindo HS athletes usually "set up camp" in the covered picnic/barbeque area adjacent to the parking lot.
